a time to be still

It's time to sit back, relax-
let god flow into my eyes
though i'd like to be with the tribe
now's not the time to be on front lines-
from time to time
withdraw to redirect,
reconnect
with the eventual plan
of the direction of man-
Time to find the strength--
to speak, to seek,
to defeat
the blocks in the road,
the piles of gold
let a higher power take hold-
for now i fold....
waiting for the hand
that guides my life,
when the moments right,
when it's time for flight
i just might
get carried away again...
in the wind---
